Direct Signing
Direct Signing is the backbone of the signing process at Nations Direct.  Recognizing that any company with a signing agent list could enter the signing service market, Nations Direct has developed a concept to differentiate itself from the rest of the industry.  It is our job to explain and correctly sign mortgage documentation.  Direct Signing is the process of grading and training our notary database in order to provide a consistent signing presentation to our client's customers.

Direct Signers contact the signing agent while at the customer's home or agent's office.  This phone call happens on every signing received by Nations Direct .  This achieves the following goals and benefits to our client and the borrower:

  • Assures that the signing agent is present and on time at every single appointment.

  • Gives the borrower another resource to answer basic mortgage questions for new or inexperienced agents.

  • Provides quality control at the signing table by enabling Nations Direct to perform specific tasks to handle special situations for each unique signing.  For example, Direct Signer's are responsible for making sure that initials and dates are put on each and every 'Right to Cancel' document correctly.

  • Allows lender to be made aware of issues while signings are in progress.   If requested, our Direct Signers will contact clients 24/7 to get them involved in problem signings.
